Looking For Group; Art Team

WORK IN PROGRESS NOT FINAL!... Looking for feedback

Production Design

 Explanation

Each individual piece of art needed to complete Tactics is posted at the bottom of this page.  Anybody may select a piece they would like to work on and apply to fill the position by emailing me their:

1 – Portfolio link

2 – The name and a lose concept sketch for the piece

3 – Details regarding the quality and style of the piece, description or comparison

4 – The way you are interested in being compensated for your work; Licensed or Purchased

Compensation

Compensation will occur either by licensing or purchasing, both offer their own benefits.

I expect no less then 6 hours of work to be spent developing each piece, and naturally the higher quality a piece is the more likely it will  be used in the next edition of Tactics.

Licensing

40% of the revenue delivered from Microsoft after hardware/marketing royalty fees have been paid will be allocated to the art team.

A licensing agreement will earn the creator a profit royalty of 0.32% for each piece of art created.  That’s 40% divided by 125; the number of pieces I would like to have created.

The license will be non-exclusive for the duration of the edition being developed which means the ownership and control of your art and ideas will remain yours and I will have to license it/them from you again for future editions.

This option of compensation will work best for people interested in:

Developing their works and ideas through the market releases of many editions

Believe they can make more money from a royalty and persistent participation

Want to be part of the developing vision of Tactics

Purchasing

Purchasing a piece of art involves a third party which will provide the purchasing capital.  In doing this ownership of your piece will be transferred to that third party.  The amount will be negotiated with that third party not me.

This is the way a traditional contract works.

Objectives

Develop a functional art team.

Explore possible art directions for Tactics.

Explore possible world directions for Tactics.

Make some $$.

Develop a core group that can then negotiate future partnership arrangements on behalf of “the artists” for new editions.
